Exploring your world through Food

Exploring your world through Food is a multi-censorial family unit includes three recipes, lesson guides and independent activities.  Because we focus on the whole family, independent activities may vary on the age of your child.  For example, activities may include: family games, healthy ingredients, educational reinforcement activities, shopping tips, list of tools, monthly planner, vocabulary words, interviews, independent games, worksheets, booklets, flashcards, songs, cutting practice, writing prompts, and recommended books and resources.

Whisking Apples gives your family an opportunity to bring whole, clean and healthy foods into your home.  Therefore, all of our recipes are healthy and whole-foods based.  So, this means using real ingredients, fruits, vegetables and whole grains products.  Our recipes do not use processed sugars or white flours but some exceptions may occur.  For example, some ingredients may vary with homemade gifts, experiments and other recipes.  Shopping tips and information are included because we hope to help your family get the most nutrient dense foods for your homes.

In addition, all the recipes are fun, kid-tested and kid approved.
